I want to make some up of the key speeches in Romeo and Juliet, so that hopefully they'll start being able to relate the words to the rhythm of speech.

Makeup

-What foundation do you use?
Dior's 'Nude' liquid mineral foundation. I love it. It gives such nice coverage but looks so natural, and it's pale enough for my crazy pale face.

-What powder do you use?
The Dior 'Nude' mineral powder which matches the foundation. It's WELL good.

-What eyebrow pencil do you use?
I don't use an eyebrow pencil. On the rare occassions that I fill my brows I do it with an eyeshadow.

-What eyeliner do you use?
MAC's Fluidline in 'Blacktrack', or a Dior Kohl pencil in black. I also have a Clarins kohl in 'voilet' which matches a specific shadow combo.

-What is your favorite eyeshadow?
Most used is actually a palette from H&M of neutral tones, but favourite is probably MAC's 'Shimmermoss' or 'Tilt'.

-What mascara do you use?
Loreal 'Telescopic Lash' in black.

What are your favourite lip bams/glosses/sticks?
I just got a really neutral MAC one which I love, and I also like Dior and Urban Decay lippies.

Hair

-Do you colour your hair?
Haha, yeah.

-At home?
Yep. I used to pay out to get it bleached at the salon, but I learned so much from my stylist before she moved that I can do it myself now and make a really good job.

-At the salon?
See above.

-What is your stylists name?
I don't have a regular stylist since I lost Michelle about two years ago. :(

-What salon do you go to?
I was going to Cusp in Glasgow until I moved back here. I dunno where I'll go now.

-What is your natural hair color?
A dirty looking grey-blonde.

Bleached platinum blonde.

Sort of wavy, really. Neither straight nor curly.

Nope, never.

I do when I need my hair to look nice and I have time, but I haven't used one in months now.

GHD, baby.

If I'm straightening then yes, but not if I don't want my head to look like a ball of frizz on regular days.

Always use Toni and Guy anti-frizz serum, sometimes also a bit of Toni and Guy wax, and sometimes Fudge 'Skyscraper' hairspray.

-What shampoo do you use?
Schwatzcopf (spelling?) Silverline shampoo.

-What conditioner do you use?
Herbal Essences for colour treated hair, or the Aussie 3 Minute Wonder one for coloured hair.

-Do you use leave in conditioner?
Yes, once a week. Osis deep nourishing.

Scents

-What deodorant do you use?
Nivea Pearl roll-on, followed by Natural Collection wild strawberry body spray.

-What body wash/soap do you use?
Dove 'Go Fresh' in Cucumber and Green Tea.

-Do you use a loofah, washcloth or soap to wash?
Shower puff.

-What perfumes do you use or like?
I swear allegiance to 3 perfumes. Estee Lauder - Beyond Paradise. Dior - Pure Poison. DKNY - DKNY.

Jewellery

-Are diamonds really a girl's best friend?
Hells yeah. Shower me with them.

-What is your jewellery essential?
I always always always wear the white gold and diamond solitair ring I bought with my 18th birthday money, and I always wear the silver bracelet that Vince's parents gave me for my birthday. Other than that, I always have quirky earrings and necklaces on the go. Sort of silly, arty stuff. Oh, and almost always my Swarovski cherry necklace.

-What jewellery do you wear most?
My ring and bracelet.

-What jewellery do you crave most?
A really beautiful diamond necklace. Something seriously bling, but classic so it won't date.

Purses and Shoes

-How many purses do you own?
Assuming you mean bags... Around 50. :$ Bags are my absolute passion.

Either of my two Lulu Guiness ones, or my retro black and white 60s style one.

-How many shoes do you own?
All in all.... About 10 pairs of dressy heels, three pairs of black leather boots, one pair of stiletto lace up boots in black red and white, two pairs of trainers, one pair of smart black shoes, 4 pairs of flipflops, three pairs of little flat slip-on shoes.

-Which pair is your favourite?
I have this pair of black sequin heels which is stunning and I adore.

-Who is your favourite handbag designer?
Lulu Guinness all the way!

It's all about Jimmy Choo, darling. One day I will have a pair of Choos for my own.

Shopping

Haha, being totally broke I'm all about Primark at the moment, haha. When I have cash in my pocket it's probably online stores like ASOS.

Keep your style true to yourself.

Quirky. I'm always a mish-mash of second hand and cheapo clothes with the designer labels and expensive jewellery. And my accessories are always a touch eccentric.

My Laura Lee at Topshop ladybird shirt, bought second hand.

My battered £9 black Primark bootcuts.

I want to be a fashion blogger, but I've come to the horrible realisation that I wear all my designer labels WRONG and that I'm not as stylish as I like to think I am. *le sigh* I guess I'll just stick to being quirky and oggling other people being fabulous from afar.

So, the man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing wants to carry out the rest of his sentence back in his home country of Libya. It has been suggested that he's willing to drop his appeal for release in order to be extrodited back to his home turf.

The reason for this? He has prostate cancer, and he is 'a man who just wants to see his family one more time and who is only interested in getting back home in order to spend his remaining time with them'.

Now, is just me, or is that a joke? The man dropped a Pan Am 103 Boeing 747 plane onto a quiet Scottish town and killed hundreds. All 243 passengers and 16 crew, plus 11 residents of Lockerbie, who were going about their usual daily business. Did the people he killed get to see their families again before they died? No, they didn't.

I am so angry. Human rights my ARSE. The man is a convicted terrorist murderer, and yet he's being given compassion about a medical condition. It makes me so angry. What gives him the right to that final time and chance to say goodbye? What gives him the damned fucking sodding right?

I hope he rots in jail and dies alone.

I realised today that I've never had a proper Valentine which meant something. I've had a card from my primary school best friend who was trying to be sweet, a card from the bastard which didn't count cos well... He was the bastard, and I got one text from the Dutchie just after we got together and it said 'Happy Hallmark Day' and went out to several girls, not just me.

And I'm actually sort of sad that no one has cared enough or been romantic enough to ever just get me a card and mean it.

The scar under my bottom lip. I bit through my lip when my face hit the ground when I was little and fell over.

So today we did a little experiment in my mental 3rd year class... We're studying a book about gang culture in 1960s America, and in light of the recent suspension of a class member for gang violence, we asked the class the following questions, and got the following replies:

Class, put up your hands if you know someone who claims to carry a blade. [Three quarters of the class put their hands up.]

Put up your hand if you've ever SEEN someone you know with a blade, so you know it's not just talk. [Half the class put their hand up]

Put your hand up if you've seen someone that you know USE a blade against someone else. [A whopping 7 people put their hands up]

And the British media thinks it's shocking that kids are dying from knife crime. It's been a way of life here in Glasgow since forever. It's no shock. It's time the media stopped sensationalising it and someone steps up to the plate who'll bloody well get the problem solved. Because at the rate it's going, I'll be knifed in my classroom soon.

So, ages ago I bought 'Kittenz and Thee Glitz' by Felix da Housecat, and I've only just got round to listening to it. I wish I'd listened sooner. It's amazingly good. I can't get enough of it. I actually think this is love. You should ALL have this CD.
